A beautifully composed, classical mare and foal photograph, made this photo a tight competitor with Welliengton for the cover, but in the end, the challenge of dot gain on newsprint (dark places in a photograph that cause the ink dots to bleed and soak together) took precedence. The Equiery will find other uses for this photo so watch for it in the future! |
