Amy Samman

Amy Samman is an attorney with the firm Furey, Doolan, & Abell
in Chevy Chase. Her practice includes government relations, land use
and equine related matters. Amy advocates for clients as a registered
lobbyist before the Maryland General Assembly and the Montgomery County
Council. She received her undergraduate degree in journalism from
the University of Richmond and her law degree from the University
of Missouri –- Kansas City School of Law. While attending law
school she served as an intern for the Honorable Fernando J. Gaitan,
Jr., United States District Judge for the Western District of Missouri.
Amy has been riding for 28 years and has competed through
the Intermediate level of eventing. She is a graduate H-A of Mission
Valley Pony Club in Kansas City and continues to participate as an
instructor and tester for local pony clubs.
Amy is also co-chair of the Legislative Committee.
